Kentucky tips off its 100th season of men’s basketball with Big Blue Madness on Friday night, Oct. 11, at Memorial Coliseum.

Ticket distribution for the general public will occur on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. at the front ticket windows of Memorial Coliseum. Tickets are limited to two per person. To encourage a UK student section and to accommodate the University of Kentucky’s fall break, student pick-up will be held on Monday, Oct. 7, at 8 a.m. Students may pick up one ticket per student ID and all students must be present to receive a ticket. All tickets are free.

Tickets also can be reserved online at ukathletics.com, beginning at 10 a.m. on Oct. 5. There is a $2 service fee for all Internet orders.

Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and the program begins at 11 p.m. The 2002-03 Wildcats will be introduced at 12:01 a.m. on Oct. 12, the first official day teams may begin practice.
