LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky junior Bradley Wheeldon, a returning All-American on the rifle team, recently competed in the World Shooting Championships in Finland. Wheeldon came away from the Championships with a 19th place finish out of 60 competitors in the junior men’s division of the 50m rifle prone competition.

Wheeldon played a large role in helping to lead the 2002 Rifle Cats to a second-place finish in the NCAA Championships. He led the team in both the air rifle and smallbore competitions at the event. Wheeldon was named to the National Rifle Association All-America first team in smallbore and second team in air rifle.
