Costs
Little League:
The entire cost of the camp is $185 for the full day camp and $110 for the half day camps. The half-day camp includes tuition fee, accident insurance and a camp t-shirt. Full day camp includes lunch. A
non-refundable deposit of $50
must be received prior to the first day of camp to ensure admittance.
Note: In each of the past 13 years, the camps have been completely filled as enrollment is limited (on a first-come basis) to preserve proper instructor/player ratios. To ensure your reservation, please submit your application early. Applications received after May 17th will be processed on an availability basis.
High School:The entire cost of the camp is $325.00 This fee includes deposit, all meals, tuition fees, lodging, accident insurance, camp t-shirt. The enclosed application should be completed and mailed as quickly as possible to the address below. Be sure to enclose the deposit of $50 or the full tuition fee.
A deposit of $50 must be received prior to June 7, 2002, to ensure a space in the High School camp. The deposit is non-refundable. Check for deposit or full amount should be made out to and mailed with application to:

Head Coach
Keith Madison
Coach Madison, in his 24th season at the helm of the Wildcats, has developed 44 All-SEC performers and 14 All-American players. In addition, 82 players have signed professional contracts. Of these, 15 have been fortunate enough to make it to the big leagues. A graduate of Western Kentucky, and with a master’s degree from Mississippi State, Madison pitched five years in pro ball, reaching triple-A in the Expos organization before becoming the UK coach at 26. Madison is currently third on the SEC’s All-Time Active Coaching Victories list.
Assistant Coach
Jan Weisberg
Assistant Coach Weisberg will serve as camp supervisor. A graduate of UK who lettered for two years after transferring from San Jose City College in California, Weisberg has earned respect as one of the brightest young coaching minds in the SEC. Now in his 10th year with the UK coaching staff, Weisberg’s efforts were pivotal in the development of 1996 draft picks Chad Green (1st round), Paul Blandford, Chip Rhea and Pete Pryor. Weisberg graduated from UK in 1993 with a degree in economics and is fifth on the single season RBI records list with 57 in 1992.
Assistant Coach
Greg Goff
Greg Goff enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Cats after a two-year stint at Southeast Missouri State. Goff has developed a reputation as an outstanding pitching coach and will help guide the Cats’ young staff. With Goff’s help, the Indians won the Ohio Valley Conference in 1998 and advanced to the NCAA Regional. Goff received an associate’s degree from Jackson State (Tenn.) Community College in 1991 and then moved on to Delta State where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1994 and a master’s degree in 1996.
Checklist of Things to Bring
Baseball items – One cap, one pair of baseball shoes, one pair of tennis-type shoes, baseball glove, bat, practice shorts, baseball pants or sweat pants (for sliding), athletic socks, supporter, practice shirts.
All personal items should be labeled.
Housing items – Pillow and pillow case, Two sheets (twin size), One blanket, Towels and wash cloths
Money – Remaining tuition due, if any, personal spending money for snacks.
Note: A camp t-shirt will be given to you on arrival.
Medical Form
In order to participate in camp, a physical form must be provided. This form must be signed and dated (within 12 months of the date of the camp) by a physician. This form may be a copy of a current school physical; a doctor’s physical form; or the UK Medical Form (completed by a physician) sent with the acceptance letter. Bring this physical form to camp registration. Do not mail to the office.
Athletic Trainer
A certified UK Athletic Trainer will be a permanent member of our camp staff. Training facilities are located adjacent to Cliff Hagan Baseball Stadium in the Shively Sports Center.
