Athens, Ga. – University of Kentucky women’s golf team travels to Athens, Ga., on Friday, April 19, to participate in the 2002 Southeastern Conference Championships. The tournament takes place at the University of Georgia Golf Course and will be hosted by the reigning SEC Champion Bulldogs.

In Thursday’s practice round UK’s senior leader, Towa Okiyama, registered a hole-in-one on the par-three 13th hole. The Tummuning, Guam, native aced the 145-yard hole with a 6-iron.

The SEC Championship will begin on Friday and run through Sunday with one round being played each day. Each round of the three-day tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m.
