The University of Kentucky Basketball Museum unveiled a new Web site at UKBBallMuseum.org. The donated site provides a way for the Museum to be promoted not only to Kentuckians, but to potential visitors to the Bluegrass.

The Web site highlights the various ways to experience the Museum such as touring the Museum exhibits, Rupp Arena Tours and hosting parties and events. Directions and admission information are provided as well as Museum membership and donation information.

Museum officials expect the site will greatly increase awareness about the Museum and what it offers thus boosting visitors to the Museum.

“I want to thank Patrick Quirk, President, Bluegrass Signature Web Design for the in-kind contribution of our web site, ukbballmuseum.org,” said museum director Van Florence. “This is the latest in a line of improvements to the Museum, and will help us to establish the University of Kentucky Basketball Museum as a fixture in the Lexington Community for many years to come.”

The site was donated by Bluegrass Signature Web Design (http://www.bswebdesign.com/) and hosting is being donated by Ultimate Solutions.

“Having previously been a part of the development of the Museum, it has been a thrill to get back in touch with the project.” Patrick Quirk, President of Bluegrass Signature Web Design said. “Hopefully this site will be a part of the Museum’s success and allow for present and future Wildcat fans to experience the exciting history of UK Basketball.”

The unveiling of the web site complements other promotions currently underway for the Museum including “Wildcat Madness” and Bill “Mr. Wildcat” Keightley’s Maker’s Mark bottle release.
