Women's Golf

Brown Summitt, N.C. – The University of Kentucky women’s golf team finished in 13th place at the Bryan National Collegiate on Sunday, April 7 at Bryan Park Champion’s Course in Brown Summit, N.C. The Lady Kats were led by senior Towa Okiyama’s sixth-place finish.

Okiyama, Tammuning, Guam native, used a second-round, 2-under par 70 to finish the three-day tournament with a 219. Rachel Lester added a 230, Kelly Anders fired a 233, Lauren George finished with a 236 and Kristen Pepe completed the tournament with a 242 to round out the Lady Kats scores.

The women’s golf team will be back in action on April 19-21 when they travel to the University of Georgia to compete in the Southeastern Conference Championships.
