LEXINGTON, Ky. – Freshman diver Trisha Tumlinson will represent the University of Kentucky at the 2002 Women’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas, beginning Thursday, March 21 and concluding on Saturday, March 23. Tumlinson will compete in the one-meter, three-meter and platform competitions at the event.

Tumlinson scored a school-record 427.30 on the platform at the NCAA Zone Diving Meet held in Lexington last weekend to qualify for the championships after placing fourth on the platform during the Southeastern Conference Championships last month in Fayetteville, Ark. She also recorded a 10th-place finish on the three-meter springboard and a 12th-place finish on the one-meter springboard during the conference championships.

Tumlinson will be the only UK swimming and diving representative at the championships.The action can be followed live on the internet at www.TexasSports.com.
