Johnson Continues to Lead Three Conference Categories: Junior defensive end Dennis Johnson continues to lead three individual categories in the weekly defensive statistics released by the Southeastern Conference office.

Johnson paces the league in tackles for loss (17), quarterback sacks (11), and fumbles caused (five). Florida’s Alex Brown ranks second in TFL (13.5) and sacks (10.5). Three players are tied for second in fumbles caused with four each.

With one game to play, Johnson already has set the single-season school record for sacks. Last week, he was named third-team All-America by Football News magazine.

Bowie, Burress, Tatum Among Pass Breakup Leaders: Senior cornerback Jeremy Bowie and sophomore cornerback Leonard Burress each have 10 pass breakups this season, tying them for seventh place in the SEC in that category. Junior CB Derrick Tatum has nine PBU, ranking 12th in the SEC.

Sixbery Leaves Kentucky: Junior offensive guard Kip Sixbery has chosen to leave the University of Kentucky football team, Coach Guy Morriss has announced. A starting offensive guard in the 1999 and 2000 seasons, Sixbery was ineligible to play this year.
