Bogans Goes For 1,000

Junior Keith Bogans, who has a career 14.6 scoring average at Kentucky, can become the 49th Wildcat to join the school’s prestigious 1,000-point club. Bogans’ eight points against Western Kentucky pulled him within four (996) of joining the list.

Tayshaun Prince’s 12 points against the Hilltoppers improved his total to 1,227 points in his career. Prince moved past Derrick Hord last night and into 30th place on UK’s all-time scoring list. He ranks just behind Deron Feldhaus (1,232) and Tom Parker (1,238).

Marshall Series

Kentucky is 9-0 against Marshall, 6-0 in Lexington. The last meeting occurred Dec. 19, 1995, a 118-99 UK win in Louisville. Tubby Smith (234-96 overall, 110-34 at UK) has never coached against the Thundering Herd. Greg White (205-209 overall, 86-55 at MU) has never coached against the Wildcats.
