Key run: ahead 36-34 early in the second half, WKU went on a 13-2 run to go ahead 49-36. Kentucky got no closer than six points the rest of the way

Sophomore guard Cliff Hawkins made his first start as a Wildcat

Tayshaun Prince and Marvin Stone led Kentucky with 12 points and six rebounds each

David Boyden led WKU in scoring with 15 points

Chris Marcus tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus had 20 double-doubles last season.

Todor Pandov equaled his career high with nine points.

UK now leads the series between the teams by a 3-2 margin.
