The University of Kentucky men’s golf team stands in 19th place after one round of play at the University of Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. Minnesota leads the highly-competitive tournament, with the final round set to be played on Sunday.
Senior Ryan Coyne sits in a tie for 33rd place with his round of 75 to lead UK. Other Wildcat scores were Philip Schardein and Mark Blakefield each with a 77, John Holmes with a 79, and Andy Dustman with a 80.
The tournament is set to conclude on Sunday, Sept. 30, with play beginning in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
