ATHENS, Ga. – Sophomore Rachel Lester shot a second-round score of 79 at the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic on Saturday, March 31, droppingher to 35th place. The Lady Kats remained in 17th place following Saturday’s action.

Duke maintained its lead, shooting a second-round total of 303 to push its two-day tally to 594, 11 strokes ahead of second-place, tournament-hostGeorgia. Texas’ Randi Meadows leads all individuals heading into Sunday’s final round with a one-under-par 143.

Also competing for UK was junior Towa Okiyama, who is in 62nd place with her score of 163, while senior Jenny Throgmorton’s total of 167 placesher in 76th place. Sophomore Kelly Anders holds 86th place with her total of 169, and junior Kristen Pepe rounds out the UK lineup in 91st placewith a 171.

The final round of the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic will begin Sunday morning at 8 am from the first and 10th tees.
