Swimming & Diving

The University of Kentucky men’s swimming and diving team finished its 2001 season by finishing 17th in the NCAA Championship Meet.

Shaun Zitani finished 27th in the 100 freestyle, narrowly missing breaking the school record, while Aaron Workman finished 37th in the same event.

Clayton Moss took 10th place on the platform in diving, as Aaron Kirkpatrick finished 22nd. In the 200 breaststroke, Roger Watkins placed 26th in his first NCAA Championship meet. The 400 freestyle relay captured 15th to finish the meet.

The meet will be broadcast on ESPN on Thursday, April 5, at 12 p.m.
