Kentucky advanced to the Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship game for the 31st time with anine-point win over Arkansas. UK is 23-7 in title games, 7-1 since the league split in 1992.
The Wildcats have won 25 of their last 27 games (92.6%) in the SEC Tournament, including seven leaguechampionships.
UK is now 7-1 in the SEC Tournament vs. Arkansas.
Keith Bogans had 23 points and 10 rebounds and teammate Tayshaun Prince tallied 19 points and 10 boards. It’s thefirst time two Cats have recorded a double-double since the pair accomplished the feat at Georgia on Jan. 31, 2001. It wasBogans’ second double-double of his career and Prince’s fifth of the season, his sixth in his career. The Wildcats haverecorded 10 double-doubles this season.
Bogans has played four games against the Razorbacks in his two seasons and averaged 21.8 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
Gerald Fitch tallied a career-high 17 points, including a 7-for-8 shooting performance from the foul line.
The win marked the third time the Cats had rallied for victory this season after trailing at halftime in eight games. UKalso rallied to win against Indiana and Georgia earlier this season.
The Wildcats are 11-0 against Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament. UK’s last battle with the Rebels in the league tournament was March 5, 1999, an 83-73 quarterfinal win in the Georgia Dome. UK has never played Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament title game.
