(Feb. 5, 2001) — The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will face a tough task on Tuesday, February 6, when they travel to Nashville, Tenn., to take on the 11th-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores.
The Wildcats are coming off of a loss at the hands of the North Carolina Tarheels last weekend and are looking to knock off Vanderbilt in their Southeastern Conference opener.
“We are looking at this match as a great opportunity,” Coach Mark Guilbeau said. “This could be a huge win for us.”
The match will take place at 2:30 p.m. CST in the Currie Indoor Tennis Center on Vanderbilt’s campus.
