(Oct. 26, 2000) — The University of Kentucky men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will be participating in the day-long Southeastern Conference Eastern Division competition in Knoxville, Tenn., on Friday, October 27, at the Student Aquatic Center. The five East Division teams will compete in the meet, which will be scored as five separate dual meets.

The Wildcats opened their seasons against Louisville on Friday, Oct. 22, where both the men and women recorded victories over the visiting Cardinals. UK swept the meet, finishing first in every event.
