The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team will play host to conference rivalArkansas on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at the UK Soccer Complex. This marks thefinal home game for the 2000 Wildcats and the final home appearance for UK seniorsJaime Dellbringge, Emily Oetjen, Jen Reese and Margo Hafer.
The Wildcats are coming off of a 3-1 win over SEC rival LSU on Friday night.
Sophomores Keri Boyce and Elizabeth Ramsey and Reese each notched goals in thematch, while junior Aimee Brown and freshman Lauren Russell each tallied an assistin the contest.
The Razorbacks head to the Bluegrass after a Friday night faceoff at Vanderbilt.The Hogs fell to the Commodores 4-0, and fall to 6-9-3 overall, and 3-4-1 inconference play. Arkansas is led by freshman Mandy Komar, who has tallied fivegoals and three assists on the season for 13 points.
This is the final regular season SEC battle for the Cats, as they facenon-conference contingents from Butler and Indiana next weekend on the road. TheSoutheastern Conference tournament is set to take place in Athens, Ga., Nov. 2-5.
