The University of Kentucky men’s golf team is set to see action in its thirdtournament of the fall season on Sept. 30- Oct. 1, when it travels to Urbana, Ill.,to take part in the Northern Intercollegiate Golf Championship.

The Cats are led by senior Wes Furnish who finished in 7th place at theWolverine Northern Invitational last weekend with a team low 218 in threerounds.

The championship will begin on Saturday at Stone Creek Golf Club with eachof the 18 teams competing in two rounds. The tournament will conclude onSunday with the final round beginning at 8 a.m.
