McMaster nets two assists in win.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (October 13, 1998) — The University of Kentucky women’s soccer teamnotched its second straight win as the Wildcats shut out Evansville, 2-0, onTuesday night.

Freshman midfielder Aimee Brown opened the scoring for the Cats with agoal off an assist from Jen McMaster in the 19th minute. The score remained1-0 in favor of UK for much of the game, until junior midfielder BrookeHergesell netted a shot off another McMaster assist at the 87:10 mark,giving the Cats a 2-0 victory.

With the win, Kentucky improved to 5-5-2 overall, 2-2 in the SoutheasternConference. Evansville dropped to 9-4-2. Kentucky resumes SEC playwhen the Cats travel to Athens, Ga., to face the Bulldogs on Friday.
