Next up the Wildcats travel to take on Wake Forest.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Florida’s Abby Wambach scored a hat trick to give thefifth-ranked Gators a 3-0 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday atthe UK Soccer Complex.

Wambach scored in the sixth minute of the game off a shot into an open net,and followed up with two more goals in the second half. With the loss,Kentucky falls to 3-3-2, 1-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Floridaremains undefeated with a record of 8-0, 4-0 in the SEC. The Cats next seeaction on Friday, Oct. 2, when they travel to Wake Forest to take on theDemon Deacons.
