The University of Kentucky men’s soccer team tied Wisconsin Green-Bay 1-1in double overtime at the UK Soccer Complex on Sunday. UK midfielder BrienBaltzell, assisted by Lee Baker, opened the scoring with a header that found thenet at the 37:33 mark. The Phoenix rallied to tie the Cats in the 75th minutewhen UK goalkeeper Brian O’Leary’s attempted clear rebounded offWisconsin-Green Bay’s Jason Weier and went into the goal.

Both teams failed to score during the two overtimes. Kentucky (10-3-2, 4-0)was whistled for 24 fouls in the match and garnered five yellow cards.

UWGB has a record of 5-6-3 overall, 1-3-1 in the Mid-Continent Conference.UK sees its next action when they play host to Marshall, who shares the topspot with the Cats in the Mid-American Conference, on Friday at 8 p.m.
