COLUMBUS, Ohio-The University of Kentucky women’s golf team finished their season with a share of 21st place at the East Regional on Saturday. The Lady Kats finished the tournament with a three-round team total of 946, tying with Vanderbilt University.

Freshman Marie Allen led the team for the fourth straight time this season, finishing the tournament with a three-round total of 231 and a share of 45th place. Sophomore Towa Okiyama managed to improve in the individual standings, moving from 80th place on Friday to 70th on Saturday. She finished the tournament with a three-round total of 235. Freshman Rachel Lester completed the tournament in 75th place, shooting a 236 over the course of three days. Junior Jenny Throgmorton and freshman Kelly Anders ended the Regional in 118th and 122nd places, respectively.

Duke University earned the team tournament title, while Lisa Strom of Ohio State and Kari Damron of Purdue took home the individual medals.
