LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky volleyball team will play host to the Kentucky Spring Volleyball Classic on Saturday, April 1 at UK’s Seaton Center. Including the Wildcats, nine teams will be competing in morning pool play followed by a seeded play-off in the afternoon.

With the morning round-robin play beginning at 9:30, the Cats will be in Pool A with Morehead and Wright State on Court I. Court II will feature Pool B and Dayton, Eastern Kentucky and Marshall while Cincinnati, Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee will comprise Pool B on Court III.

Afternoon play will begin at 1:30 with the pools being re-seeded based on placement >from the earlier session. The winners of each morning pool will compete on Court I. The three 2nd place teams will play on Court II with the three 3rd place teams going on Court III. The afternoon session will also be a round-robin format.

This is the second spring tournament action for the Cats this season. The Wildcats competed in a tournament at Dayton University on March 25.

Seaton Center is located on University Avenue just off Cooper Drive on the UK campus. Admission to the tournament is free, but space is limited.
