The UK men’s tennis team has two goals in mind as they head into theirmatch-up with the eighth-ranked UCLA Bruins on Tuesday afternoon inLouisville. The Cats will be trying to stay on the winning track afterending a two-match losing streak with a win last week against SEC-rivalArkansas, 5-2 in Fayetteville. The Cats are now 3-2 in dual matches thisseason.

More importantly though, Kentucky will be attempting to head into theUSTA/ITA National Collegiate Indoor Team Championships on a winning note.The National Indoors will be played at the Louisville Tennis Club, the siteof Tuesday’s dual match between UK and UCLA, starting on Thursday.The National Indoors pits 16 of the top teams in the nation in a gruelingfour-day tournament. UCLA has won the event a total of six times, secondonly to Stanford’s 10 titles. Both teams will be competing in the eventwhile Kentucky has a first round match-up with Duke, the team thateliminated them from NCAA Tournament in 1999.
