ATHENS, Ga. – Top-seeded doubles team Brooke Skeen and Leigh Bradwelladvanced to the finals of the Georgia Invitational by defeating MississippiState’s Eimear Sloan and Amelie Detriviere Sunday afternoon, 8-2.

Skeen and Bradwell will play for the tournament championship on Mondaymorning at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Tennis Center.

In singles action, Skeen was knocked out of the tournament in thequarterfinals by second seed Kavitha Krishnamurthy from Princeton, 6-1, 7-5.

UK freshmen Jill Buckley and Amy Trefethen were victorious in theconsolation bracket of the tournament Sunday afternoon.
