LEXINGTON, Kty. — Tickets for the University of Kentucky gymnastics team’s annual preseason extravaganza will go on sale Monday, Dec. 13 at the UK ticket office in Memorial Coliseum.

The theme for this year’s Excite Nite is “Millennium Magic: Y2Kats” and will feature the 2000 UK GymKats, former UK athletes and other performances. The master of ceremonies will be WKYT-TV’s Dick Gabriel.

“I’m really excited because this is the silver anniversary of the program and the beginning of a new millennium,” Coach Leah Little said. “I think the blending of these two things will make for an exciting evening that we will celebrate with several former gymnasts. We want to bring in the new millennium with a bang.”

Tickets are $5 for reserved seating and $3 for general admission seating and are available through the ticket office at (606) 257-1818 or (800) 928-CATS. The ticket office is open Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
