LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 14th-ranked University of Kentucky women’s soccer team will play hostto the 19th-ranked Michigan Wolverines on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m.

UK (15-2-1) will honor its four seniors prior to match with aspecial Senior Day ceremony. Hope Deutschle, Brooke Hergesell, AllisonPeppers, and Deanna Stayton will be playing their final regular season homegame at the UK Soccer Complex.

The Cats will be looking to avenge a heartbreaking 1-0 loss toMichigan last season in Ann Arbor. The game was a scoreless tie late in thesecond half when UM slipped a 15-yard shot past the UK defense with fiveseconds remaining to record a 1-0 win.

UM (13-4-1), coming off a 2-1 victory over Alabama Fridaynight on the first day of the SEC/Big Ten Challenge, is led by freshmanforward Abby Crumpton who has scored nine goals and tallied four assists.Junior Kacy Beitel has aided the Wolverines’ cause with eight goals, fourof which have been game-winning goals, and three assists.

Goalkeeper Carissa Stewart has recorded 64 saves and posted5.5 shutouts for UM this season.

UK posted its school record 14th straight win Friday night asthe Cats defeated Minnesota 2-0. Goalkeeper Beth Wells posted her sixthshutout of the season for the Cats.

Alabama will face Minnesota in the first game on Sunday at12:30 p.m.
