Men’s golf looks to build on last week’s good outing.

LEXINGTON, Kty. – The University of Kentucky men’s golf team will be competing in the Persimmon Ride Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 18-19, at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville. The Cats are coming off their best showing of the fall season as they finished fourth at the Xavier Invitational on Oct. 11-12 with a season-best score of 875.

The Persimmon Ridge Invitational features a field of 18 teams, including Kentucky and the 1998 team champion Illinois. Players will tee off each morning at 9 a.m. CT.
