LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 19th-ranked University of Kentucky women’s soccer team will play hostto the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Sunday, Oct. 17, at the UK SoccerComplex. The match is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

UK (11-2-1) captured its tenth consecutive victory Friday night, defeatingSEC Western Division leader Ole Miss, 2-1.

“Mississippi State has struggled a bit this year but they are not to betaken lightly,” UK coach Warren Lipka said. “We need to come out and playhard and sustain our intensity for 90 minutes.”

UK leads the all-time series between the two schools, 2-0, including a 4-0victory over the over the Bulldogs in 1997. MSU has not scored on UK in thetwo previous meetings.
