WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team tied Wisconsin 5-5 inday-two action at the Purdue Fall Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.

Freshmen Sarah Witten, Leigh Bradwell and Jill Buckley claimed singleswins and the duos of Witten and Carolina Mayorga and Bradwell and BrookeSkeen won doubles contests.

UK’s tandem of Mayorga and Buckley also led 4-0 over Wisconsin’s VanessaRauh and Katie Daugherty in what would have been the day’s deciding matchbefore rain ended play.

UK returns to action on Sunday when the Wildcats battle SMU at 9 a.m.
