Hofstra uncertain about getting a flight out of New York.

The Friday night matches for the Kentucky Conference Challenge have been pushedback an hour from 5 and 7 p.m. to 6 and 8 p.m. in response to the HofstraFlying Dutchwomen being unable to get a flight out of New York due to HurricaneFloyd. Hofstra is scheduled to depart by airplane from New York on Fridayafternoon at approximately 3 p.m.
If the team is able to depart on time, Hofstra will play Central Michigan at 8p.m. on Friday instead of 5 p.m. as previously scheduled. UK will then hostSoutheast Missouri at 5 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.
If both matches take place on Friday night, the Saturday slate of fourmatches will continue as planned. Morning play would begin at 10 a.m. with SEMOtaking on Hofstra, followed by UK vs. Central Michigan at noon. The eveningaction begins at 5 p.m. when CMU battles SEMO, to be immediately followed by UKvs Hofstra at 7 p.m.
If the Flying Dutchwomen are unable to take to the air on Friday, thetournament will go on with the games involving Hofstra being dropped from theschedule. An appropriate schedule will then be constructed to facilitate theremaining three teams.
