Wildcats face three teams in six-match tournament.

LEXINGTON, Kty. – UK will play host to the fourth-annual Kentucky Conference Challenge VolleyballTournament on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 17 & 18, at historic MemorialColiseum. The Cats (5-2) will be playing SE Missouri St., Central Michigan andHofstra in a round-robin format.

Friday’s schedule begins with the Hofstra vs. Central Michigan match at 5 p.m.UK will then host Southeast Missouri with the match set for 7 p.m. Hofstraenters the tournament with a 7-2 record while SEMO is 4-4 and CMU is 3-4.

There are four matches on the slate for Saturday. Morning play begins at 10a.m. when SEMO takes on Hofstra and is followed by UK vs. Central Michigan atnoon. The evening action begins at 5 p.m. when CMU battles SEMO, to beimmediately followed by UK vs Hofstra at 7 p.m.

After these matches are completed, the Cats will only have one match before thebeginning of the SEC season. UK will host state-rival Louisville on Sept. 21before heading to South Carolina and the SEC-opener.
