COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team fell to Tulsa, 1-0, on Sunday as part of the Nike Tiger Invitational.

The game remained scoreless in the second half until Tulsa’s Paige Mayer netted the game-winner in the 56th minute. Despite 16 shots on goal and six corner kicks, the Cats (2-2-2, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) failed to score.

The Cats next see action on Friday, Sept. 25, when they face SEC rival South Carolina. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the UK Soccer Complex.
