COLUMBIA, S.C.-The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team ended its regular season on Saturday, falling to South Carolina 67-65. The Wildcats (13-14, 5-9) who defeated the Lady Gamecocks (12-14, 3-11) earlier this season in Lexington 87-73, came out with a eight point lead in the first half before USC came back to tie the game 31-31 at the half. USC’s Annie Lester, one of four seniors to be recognized in the Lady Gamecock’s Senior Night ceremony, scored 13 of her game high 23 points in the first half.
