Junior Jenny Dugan was named an All-Southeastern Conference HonorableMention selection following last Sunday’s completion of the leaguetournament. Dugan is the first All-SEC team member from UK since LauriBerles in 1997.

Dugan’s best round of the year was an 8-under 66 in the first round of theLady Seminole Invitational last September, her first collegiate tournamentvictory. Her score set both a course and tournament record. The Odessa,Fla., native also set two other tournament records with her two-round totalof 138 and her three-round total of 208.

Dugan had two top-10 finishes and three top-20 finishes in 10 tournamentsthis season. Her stroke average was a team-leading 78.00.

“We are excited to have someone on the All-SEC team,” Coach Bettie LouEvans said. “It is good for Kentucky golf. (Dugan) is our No. 1 playerand she is well deserving of the honor. We are happy for her.”
