LEXINGTON, Kty. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will try to win its second straight match when it takes on Maryland at noon on Sunday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.

The Wildcats (3-2, 0-2 SEC) defeated Ohio State 7-2 on Feb. 20, winning five singles matches and two doubles matches. No. 2 singles player Kathy Herring extended her season record to 4-1 against the Buckeyes, and UK’s No. 1 doubles team of Massoumeh Emami and Kelly Brown also brings a 4-1 record into the match against Maryland.

The Terrapins are undefeated with a 3-0 record so far this season. UM crushed Ohio State 8-1 on Saturday in Lexington.
