LEXINGTON, Ky. – Seven members of the University of Kentucky men’s soccer team have been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for 1998. Lee Baker, Jason Bell, Billy Dwyer, John Hinds, Jay Marshall, Michael Stickler and Chris West were all selected for the honor based on their academic achievements. With seven selections, UK tied Vanderbilt for the most players on the 19-member squad.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must either have a 3.0 GPA for the past year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be a sophomore or higher in terms of academic classification and have 24 hours toward a degree.
