The University of Kentucky women’s doubles team of Kelly Brown and Massoumeh Emami will travel to South Bend, Ind., for the NCAA National Championships May 25-29.

Juniors Emami and Brown, No. 15 in the country, hold a 22-8 overall record. They will compete against Kansas’s Kylie Hunt and Christie Sim in the first round of action on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Hunt and Sim are currently ranked 19th in the nation.

The 24th-ranked UK women’s tennis team finished the season last week at the NCAA Regional semifinals with a 15-9 season record. Emami and Brown are the only two members of the UK squad to advance to the NCAA Championships.
