KNOXVILLE, Tenn.-The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team fell to Tennessee 6-2 Wednesday.

Kentucky freshman Brooke Skeen won at the No. 6 spot in singles competition. She then teamed up with junior Christy Sigurski to defeat Tennessee’s Reid/Russell, ranked 42nd in the nation, at the No. 2 doubles spot.

The Wildcats will play next at home against Mississippi State at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Center on March 24 at 2 p.m.
