The University of Kentucky men’s tennis team hits the road to face intrastate rival, University of Louisville, Wednesday.

This is the Cats’ second trip to Louisville this season, where they competed in the ITA/USTA National Men’s Tennis Team Indoor Championships, Feb. 19-22. UK had a 1-2 record at the championships, where they won against Kansas 6-1 and lost to Duke 4-0 and Southern California 4-3.

The Wildcats (7-3, 0-1) have a 35-3-1 dual match record over Louisville since their first meeting in 1925. The Cardinals (9-0) blanked Morehead State on Feb. 28, 7-0. They are led by Michael Mather and Chris Steel in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively.
