University of Kentucky senior offensive tackle Kris Comstock has accepted an invitation to play in the 53rd-annual Hula Bowl All-Star Football Classic.

The game, to be played on January 24, 1999, in Maui, Hawaii, is one of college football’s oldest and most prestigious all-star games. Comstock will be the 22nd player in UK history to play in the Hula Bowl, the most recent being Mark Higgs in 1987.

Comstock is a three-year starter for the Cats and has started the last 28 games at right tackle.
