The University of Kentucky men’s and women’s swimming teams head to Chapel Hill, N.C.,Thursday for the 13th annual Nike Cup. The competition will feature many top teams, including Clemson, Connecticut, East Carolina, James Madison, Kansas, LSU, North Carolina, N.C. State, UNC-Wilmington, Old Dominion, Richmond and Syracuse. The UK squads swam well at last year’s Nike Cup, with the women winning the competition and the men finishing third. The Cup begins Thursday, with preliminary events scheduled for 10:30 a.m., and runs through Saturday.
