ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team gave up a goal in the closing seconds against No. 19 Michigan on Sunday to drop its last game of the regular season.

The game was a scoreless tie as time wound down, but Michigan’s Amber Berendowsky netted a 15-yard shot at the 89:55 mark to give the Wolverines the 1-0 victory.

With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 8-7-3, while Michigan improves to 12-5-1. Next up for the Cats is the SEC Tournament in Tuscaloosa, Ala. UK faces Ole Miss on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m.
