LEXINGTON, Ky. – Despite shooting a team-total of 307 in the final round of the SEC GolfChampionships, the Lady Kat golf team finished the tournament in 12thplace. Georgia captured the title for the third year in a row aftershooting a 291 on the final day of competition.
Jenny Dugan hit a 1-under-par 71 in the third round to bring her up to21st place. Jenny Throgmorton and Kristen Pepe finished the tournamenttied for 46th place. They both hit 6-over-par 78s on the final day ofcompetition. Towa Okiyama shot an 8-over-par 80 to bring her total to 251and tie her with two other women for 53rd place. Chanda Day hit an 88 onthe final day of competition to finish the tournament in 59th place.
Shauna Estes of Georgia won the SEC Individual title, shooting athree-round-total 6-under-par 210.
