FULLERTON, Calif.-Cal State Fullerton topped the University of Kentucky men’s soccer team 2-0 late Friday in the FILA Soccer Classic in Fullerton, Calif.

The game was scoreless until the 62nd minute, when Cal State’s Duncan Oughton slipped a low shot past Kentucky’s Brian O’Leary. Just 16 minutes later, Titan Colby Jackson took a cross from Marco Mesrobian and slammed the ball into the net, giving Fullerton (2-0-0) the 2-0 victory. With the loss, the Wildcats dropped to 0-2-0 on the year. The Wildcats will look for their first win of the season when they return to action Sunday, Sept. 6, taking on the University of San Diego (0-2) at 8:30 p.m. in the finale of the FILA Classic in Fullerton.
