The Lady Kat golfers of Kentucky will head to Greenville, S.C. for the Lady Paladin Invitational starting Friday. Kentucky hopes to beat out 17 other teams, including seven ranked teams.

The field includes Appalachian State, 13th-ranked Auburn, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, 22nd-ranked Florida State, 6th-ranked Georgia, Memphis, Miami, 10th-ranked North Carolina, UNC-Greensboro, 22nd-ranked South Carolina, 8th-ranked TCU, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Winthrop, Wofford and host 15th-ranked Furman.

The Lady Kats are coming off a second-place finish at the EKU Invitational on October 16-17, where junior Jenny Dugan finished in 3rd place.

UK tees off at 8:30 Friday morning. The tournament will be played at the 5,917 yard, par-72 Furman University Golf Course.
