Coaches at Convention: The Kentucky football coaching staff is in Nashville, Tenn., attending the annual American Football Coaches Association convention. The AFCA convention continues through Thursday. Following the convention, the coaches will resume recruiting.

Players Return to Lexington: The Kentucky football players return to Lexington this week as classes for the spring semester begin on Wednesday.

Comstock, Jacobs in All-Star Gridiron Classic: Two UK seniors, offensive tackle Kris Comstock and defensive tackle Mark Jacobs, will play in the inaugural All-Star Gridiron Classic on Sat. Jan. 16 in Orlando, Fla.

The Gridiron Classic is being hosted by the Citrus Bowl and will pit “Team Florida” against “Team USA.” Both Wildcats are natives of the Sunshine State and will play for Team Florida, which is comprised of players who are from Florida or played their collegiate football in the state.

The game will be televised by ESPN2 and is slated for a 1 p.m. EST kickoff.
