LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team will travel to Richmond,Ky., on Tuesday, Feb. 16 to face intrastate rival Eastern Kentucky at 6:30p.m. in the Paul S. McBrayer Arena.

The Wildcats (16-9, 6-7 Southeastern Conference) look to capture their 17thwin of the regular season after falling to Mississippi State on Sunday,83-78. The last time UK charted 17 wins was in 1993-94 when it finished17-11.

UK holds a one-game win streak over the Lady Colonels (11-12, 8-8 OhioValley Conference) after winning 76-60 in Lexington last season. UK leadsthe overall series with EKU 20-8 and is 3-0 this season versus opponentsfrom the Ohio Valley Conference.

“This non-conference game with Eastern Kentucky is always a battle,” UKCoach Bernadette said. “We will go into this game just like we would ourSEC games.”
