The UK baseball team (3-8) will play host to Eastern Michigan (2-4)Tuesday, March 9, and Wednesday, March 10, at 3 p.m. at Cliff HaganStadium. These will be Kentucky’s last games before opening conference playagainst Vanderbilt on Friday, March 12, at 3 p.m.

Kentucky is coming off losses to Illinois and Indiana last weekend. TheEagles of Eastern Michigan lost to the University of Evansville onSaturday, 10-2.

Tuesday’s game will be the sixteenth meeting between the two schools. UKleads the series, 12-3. They last played in 1994, with UK winning bothcontests, 7-5 and 4-2.

The Wildcats will throw junior Brandon Webb (0-1) on Tuesday and freshmanClint Kelley (0-1) on Wednesday. Juniors Aaron McGlone and Breck Price willattempt to keep their hitting streaks alive. Price comes into tomorrow’smatch-up with a five-game hitting streak and McGlone has reached basesafely in six consecutive games.
