The University of Kentucky mens tennis team, coming off a 5-2 home victory over No. 9 Alabama, hopes to extend its winning streak when the eighth-ranked Florida Gators come to town on Friday, March 26. The Cats (9-4, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) are in the middle of a five-game stretch of top 15 opponents. Against Alabama, No. 32 UK won four of six singles matches and clinched the doubles point. Florida (11-4, 3-2 SEC) was upset by No. 28 LSU, 4-3, in its last outing. The Gators split singles matches with LSU, but the Tigers picked up the doubles point to notch the win. The match is the first of a double-header at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center. The Cats face LSU at 2 p.m., while the UK women take on Louisville at 5 p.m.
